Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Leader to join our team at an Automotive company in Ottawa, Canada. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee daily accounting functions, manage financial processes, and provide guidance to senior management and department heads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Manage financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Provide guidance to senior management and department heads on financial matters.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • CPA designation with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in Canada.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Keen analytical skills, with a proven track record of streamlining processes and improving efficiencies.
  • Proficient in both official languages (English and French).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products (particularly Excel).
