Operations Manager

MT. NEWTON SHELL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity, informing our sales and marketing strategies.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with our business goals.
- Price and Credit Policies: Implement and manage price and credit policies, ensuring they are fair and competitive.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 hours per week.
