Job Title: Transportation Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at Canamera Refrigerated Transport Inc.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Monitor department performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and establish policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Negotiate for services and preferential rates with suppliers.
  • Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in transportation operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
