Operations Manager

MT. NEWTON SHELL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to determine consumer demand, analyze sales trends, and identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring they meet the needs and preferences of our customers.
- Price and Credits Policies: Implement and manage price and credits policies, ensuring they are fair and competitive.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure adequate coverage and excellent customer service.
- Operations and Control: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring they are efficient and effective.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 hours per week.
