Farm Operations Manager

Olds Oasis Organic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality crops.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement soil fertility programs to maintain optimal soil health and crop yields.
- Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
- Maintain quality control and production records to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Hire and train staff to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
- Combine sitting, standing, and walking to perform various tasks.
- Attention to detail is essential to ensure quality control and production records are accurate.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Permanent position with 30-40 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
