Job Overview:

The Retail Merchandising Specialist will play a key role in maintaining Hallmark Canada departments within our pharmacy, grocery, or big box retailers in mass channel accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supports merchandising service with inventory management and merchandising activities in assigned retail accounts or several retail accounts.
  • Maintains scheduled service visits each week and stays within set budgets as they flex from week to week depending on retail occasions.
  • Follows merchandising plan, productivity standards, and schedule provided, requiring attention to detail and flexibility to react to issues that arise on a job site.
  • Provides additional support to cover vacant accounts, holiday periods, and seasonal peak demand periods.
  • Liaises with account management as a Hallmark representative relative to scheduled service calls and builds/maintains strong working relationships with account level management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in retail environment beneficial
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Strong knowledge of Smartphone technology and ability to effectively manage an email account

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and location. This is a part-time position, approximately 20-30 hours per week. The salary range reflects the demands and responsibilities associated with this role. We are looking for someone who can commit to regular weekly visits and adapt to changing priorities.
