As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with business objectives, driving operational efficiency, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
- Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders and team members.
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against milestones and KPIs.
- Partner with Business Owners, Product Managers, and Product Owners to ensure strategy, vision, and roadmap alignment and execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources, including internal and external stakeholders, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and execution.
- Drive alignment and organizational, leadership, and team preparedness for planning events.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact program delivery, and proactively implement corrective actions as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Provide regular updates and reports to Senior Leadership Team and key external stakeholders on program status, progress, and key metrics.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and innovation within the program team, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, computer science, or a related field; PMP/PgMP certification considered an asset.
- Proven experience as a program manager or lead, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience managing complex programs and initiatives, from initiation to closure.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a matrixed organization.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively and develop creative solutions.
- Experience with program management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines effectively.
- Strong commitment to quality, excellence, and continuous improvement, with a passion for driving operational excellence and delivering value to stakeholders.
- Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity.
