Job Title: Peoplesoft Financials Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

As a Peoplesoft Financials Functional Consultant at Astra North Infoteck Inc., you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance on the implementation and configuration of Peoplesoft Financials modules. Your primary focus will be on the General Ledger (GL) module, where you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements, develop functional designs, and create process documents. Additionally, you will have hands-on experience with GL configuration and setup, as well as AWE configuration. Your expertise will also extend to other Peoplesoft modules, including AP, AR, FA, and PO. You will be responsible for owning functional setup and configuration of the EBS/PeopleSoft components and creating necessary functional documentation. With a strong background in finance and accounting, you will be able to communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional client management skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements for Peoplesoft Financials modules
  • Develop functional designs and create process documents for GL and other Peoplesoft modules
  • Configure and set up GL and AWE modules
  • Own functional setup and configuration of EBS/PeopleSoft components
  • Create necessary functional documentation
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance on Peoplesoft Financials modules

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience with Peoplesoft Finance Modules, with a focus on GL
  • At least 3+ years of experience working with banking/financial clients in Peoplesoft
  • Fair knowledge of finance reporting processes
  • Sound functional knowledge of other Peoplesoft modules, including AP, AR, FA, and PO
  • Very good documentation skills
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Experience in Agile way of working

Desirable Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with SQL
  • Experience with personalization
  • Experience working with Unix environment (Solaris/AUX)
  • Knowledge of DevOps
