PeopleSoft Finance General Ledger Functional Specialist

Astra North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Finance General Ledger Functional Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Finance Modules, with a strong focus on General Ledger configuration and setup.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hands-on experience with GL configuration and setup, AWE configuration
- At least 3+ years of working experience with Banking / Financial clients in PeopleSoft
Competencies:
- F&A General Ledger, Oracle PeopleSoft Financials Core (AP, AR, GL)
- Working with Business to understand and gather requirements & develop Functional Design / Process Document
- Good understanding of Journal processing, ADB understanding, Summary ledgers, Multicurrency processing, Allocation processing, Year-end closing, Inter-unit processing, Consolidation and Equitization process
- Experience in Personalization
- Experience in working with Unix environment (Solaris/AUX)
- Good understanding of Spreadsheet Journals processing
- Own functional setup and configuration of the EBS / PeopleSoft components
- Necessary functional documentation
- Hands-on experience in SQL
Essential Skills:
Fair knowledge on Finance Reporting process
Sound Functional knowledge on other PeopleSoft Modules – GL, AP, AR, FA, PO etc. would be an added advantage
Very good documentation skill
Strong Communication and Client Management Skills
Experience in Agile way of working
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of DevOps
