PeopleSoft Finance General Ledger Functional Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Finance General Ledger Functional Consultant to join our team at Astra North Infoteck Inc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PeopleSoft Finance modules, specifically General Ledger, and a strong understanding of financial reporting processes. The consultant will be responsible for implementing and configuring PeopleSoft Finance and General Ledger components, as well as providing functional setup and configuration of EBS/PeopleSoft components. Strong documentation skills and experience in Agile methodologies are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and configure PeopleSoft Finance and General Ledger components
* Provide functional setup and configuration of EBS/PeopleSoft components
* Develop and maintain functional documentation
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements
* Develop functional design and process documents
Requirements:
* 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Finance modules, specifically General Ledger
* Strong understanding of financial reporting processes
* Experience in Agile methodologies
* Strong documentation skills
* Hands-on experience with SQL
* Experience in working with Unix environment (Solaris/AUX)
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of DevOps
