Job Description
Role Description:
  • As a PeopleSoft Financials Functional Consultant at Astra North Infoteck Inc., you will work with businesses to understand and gather requirements, and develop functional designs and process documents for General Ledger (GL) and other finance modules.
  • You will have a good understanding of journal processing, ADB, summary ledgers, multicurrency processing, allocation processing, year-end closing, inter-unit processing, consolidation, and equitization processes.
  • Hands-on experience with GL configuration and setup, AWE configuration, and spreadsheet journal processing is required.
  • You will own functional setup and configuration of the EBS/PeopleSoft components and necessary functional documentation.
  • Experience in Agile way of working and strong communication and client management skills are essential.
Essential Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Finance Modules – GL experience is a must.
  • At least 3+ years of working experience with Banking/Financial clients in PeopleSoft.
  • Fair knowledge on finance reporting process.
  • Sound functional knowledge on other PeopleSoft Modules – GL, AP, AR, FA, PO, etc.
  • Very good documentation skill.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • Experience in Agile way of working.
Desirable Skills:
  • Hands-on experience in SQL.
  • Experience in Personalization.
  • Experience in working with Unix environment (Solaris/AUX).
  • Knowledge of DevOps.
