Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Scheduling
    • Develop and implement daily route schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation of students and staff.
    • Coordinate with drivers and bus assistants to ensure they have the necessary information and resources to complete their routes.
  • Dispatch and Communication
    • Monitor and respond to emergency situations and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
    • Communicate effectively with drivers, bus assistants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of route schedules, driver assignments, and other relevant information.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required to management and other stakeholders.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience in transportation or a related field preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions.
    • Ability to operate two-way and emergency radio systems.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office software and computerized routing systems.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
