Nurse - Patient Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Northern Health Authority.
Key Responsibilities: As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department. This includes providing nursing care, assistance, and relief to all nursing areas, including ICU, Maternity, Med/Surg, and Ambulatory Care.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant, and acquire and maintain skill certification in areas such as CPR, Neonatal Resuscitation, IV therapy, Blood Glucose Monitoring, Ventilator, and basic Cardiac Monitoring.
Working Conditions: This is a full-time position with a shift rotation that includes days, nights, and weekends. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient acuity.
