We are seeking a Pediatric Psychiatric Liaison Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an interprofessional care team to provide person-centered and recovery-oriented care to pediatric psychiatric patients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents and a strong understanding of mental illness and substance use treatment. They will be responsible for conducting initial and ongoing mental health and substance use patient assessments, providing nursing care and interventions, and communicating with patients, families, and the interprofessional care team. The Pediatric Psychiatric Liaison Nurse will also participate in patient care conferences, promote person-centered care, and educate patients and families about essential health care topics. They will be a key member of our team, working closely with the interprofessional community Child & Youth mental health team, agencies, and other community service providers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
