By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans, including monthly reporting, annual goals, sales and marketing budgets, forecasts, and other reports as directed.
- Direct and manage all group, transient, and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of the competition, identify customer needs, and adapt to changing market trends.
- Manage and direct all advertising, public relations, and promotional activities in conjunction with our corporate marketing and public relations departments.
- Participate in sales presentations, property tours, and customer meetings to build strong relationships and drive sales growth.
- Represent Accor Hotels in community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promote a positive image.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage performance issues within the management team.
- Monitor team members' performance, attitude, and degree of professionalism, and work with our Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring, training, motivating, coaching, counseling, and development of team members.
- Be fully conversant with hotel fire and life safety/emergency procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from a reputable hospitality school.
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience or at least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with proven records.
- High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of global markets and business acumen.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience is an asset. Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
