Business Development Specialist

Humans of HR is a boutique recruitment agency in Vancouver, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team.

This role involves driving revenue growth and profitability through strategic business development and account management. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery while actively identifying new prospects to expand our client base in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market presence and sales volume.
  • Follow up on sales leads and referrals from various sources to nurture existing relationships.
  • Attend industry events and client meetings to establish and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Maintain a detailed customer database to ensure regular contact and promote client retention.
  • Implement effective account management strategies to ensure customer loyalty and support sales growth.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure client service needs are met and align with company standards.
  • Contribute to a customer-focused culture within the team, fostering excellent service throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven success in sales or account management, ideally within a service-oriented industry in Western Canada.
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, marketing, sales, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM tools is an asset.
  • A collaborative team player with a values-driven mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Commitment to social, environmental, and community sustainability.
