We are seeking an experienced business leader to join our Canadian HR Leadership team as Vice President of Communications. If you are a dynamic, innovative, and results-driven communications expert with a passion for storytelling, significant experience in issues and stakeholder management, and a proven ability to build strong relationships, we would like to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and build on a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Bring a field-first and operations mindset to managing outcomes in a complex and matrixed organization.
  • Build and maintain positive media relations and public relations crises to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely coverage of the company.
  • Lead a team of communications professionals, providing guidance, direction, and mentorship while fostering an inclusive culture that reflects the company's diversity and values.
  • Overall accountability for our corporate recognition programs – including program management, associate communications, and event planning.
  • Monitor and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of communications and recognition initiatives and make data-driven decisions and enhancements.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong presentation, writing, and content writing skills.
  • Understand and navigate public policy issues that impact the company's operations or reputation.
