Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned communications professional to join our team as Vice President, Communications. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping our company's narrative and employee experience, directly supporting our overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Communications Strategy: Create and implement a strategic communications plan that aligns with our company's overall business objectives, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, employees, and the public.
  2. Manage Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, employees, customers, and investors, to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely coverage of our company.
  3. Lead a Team of Communications Professionals: Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to a team of communications professionals, fostering an inclusive culture that reflects our company's diversity and values.
  4. Protect and Enhance Our Reputation: Proactively address key issues and promote positive storytelling to protect and enhance our company's reputation.
  5. Oversee Corporate Recognition Programs: Manage our corporate recognition programs, including program management, associate communications, and event planning.
  6. Measure and Analyze Communications Effectiveness: Monitor and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of our communications and recognition initiatives, making data-driven decisions and enhancements.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a leader within communications, public relations, or marketing, with a passion for sharing stories of our company's business and values through various channels.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or equivalent work experience.
  3. Progressive Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience, preferably in a matrixed organization.
  4. Strong Communication Skills: Strong presentation, writing, and content writing skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results-oriented initiatives through complexity.
  5. Public Policy Knowledge: Understanding and ability to navigate public policy issues that impact our company's operations or reputation.
