About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry while working alongside experienced tradespeople. As an Automotive Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our technicians with various tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed in maintaining vehicles and equipment
  • Clean machines and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, following established safety protocols
  • Help prepare vehicles for painting by masking and taping auto body surfaces
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and accuracy
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; on-the-job training provided
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and physical stamina
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
