The Opportunity

BRC Group - Tayco and BRC is seeking a skilled Wood Product Assembler to join our Assembly Team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality furniture products to our customers.

The Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling a variety of furniture products, including desks, credenzas, laterals, file cabinets, hutches, bookcases, and storage units. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all products meet our quality standards and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain manual and automated tools and equipment, including nail guns, hand drills, screwdrivers, hammers, table saws, and miter saws.
  • Apply furniture glue to parts prior to assembly.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
  • Take initiative and demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills in daily work.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and BRC policies.
  • Perform all work to BRC standards and ensure final products meet quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS and OHSA regulations.
