The Opportunity

BRC Group - Tayco and BRC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Wood Product Preparer in our Assembly department. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and varied tasks in alignment with production processes within the assembly department.
  • Participate in educational and cross-training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Operate and maintain manual and automated tools, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare and assemble wood products, adhering to quality standards and production schedules.
  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve productivity and efficiency goals.
  • Identify and report product and equipment malfunctions to the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of product quality and good production methods.
  • Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
Working Conditions

  • Occasional lifting of moderately heavy objects may be required.
  • Will be required to stand for 8 hours a day.
  • May be required to work overtime as required.
