Senior Laboratory Specialist, Centralized Testing Facility

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Specialist to join our team in the Centralized Testing Facility.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity with PHSA, where you will be responsible for performing additional procedures for the majority of your time, including routine procedures in various sections of the laboratory as required, following established departmental procedures.
You will collect specimens from inpatients and outpatients as needed, perform maintenance on related equipment, and report any malfunctions to the Section Head. Additionally, you will compile statistics as required and ensure that quality control standards are met.

What You Bring- A graduate degree in Medical Technology or a related field, plus a minimum of one year's recent experience in a laboratory setting.
- Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) certification is an asset.
- An annual salary of $73,416 - $93,584, depending on your level of experience.
