Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Center Manager to oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of distribution center operations, including receiving, picking, production picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing. Manage the transportation and customs group.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of supervisors, warehouse staff, and other personnel. Conduct training, performance evaluations, and staff development programs.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure accurate inventory management and control processes. Conduct regular audits, monitor stock levels, and manage discrepancies.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the distribution center's budget, including monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order accuracy, delivery times, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse management, with a proven track record of managing teams and optimizing operations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills. Proficiency in warehouse management systems related to SAP and other relevant software.
  • In-depth understanding of distribution and logistics processes, inventory management, and supply chain best practices.
