Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our distribution centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of products to our customers and production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of distribution centre operations, including receiving, picking, production picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of supervisors, warehouse staff, and other personnel.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure accurate inventory management and control processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety standards and protocols.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to resolve issues, ensure timely order fulfillment, and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the distribution centre's budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in warehouse management systems.
