We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Peter Daigle Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable (1995) Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare, package, and restock goods as needed.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
- Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
- Forklift Operator Certification and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
