About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Best Yet Transport INC. as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Plan and execute the transportation of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and resolving any issues that may arise during transportation.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents or breakdowns, and take necessary actions to resolve the issue.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical demands, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential.
