About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Best Yet Transport INC. as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Plan and execute the transportation of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring regular lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
