Job Title: Plant Human Resources Manager

Owens-Illinois, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for delivering human resources support for our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the plant manufacturing team to implement HR processes and initiatives
  • Drive the administration and coordination of plant labor relations, employment/recruiting and staffing, benefits administration, wage & salary administration, affirmative action/EEO, employee relations, and community relations
  • Ensure the execution of talent management processes including workforce planning, recruiting & staffing, performance management, employee development, and succession planning
  • Optimize personnel performance and efficiency
  • Support the manufacturing plant by providing strategic HR counsel and driving the company's HR practices
Requirements:
  • At least 5 to 7 years of professional HR experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • HR systems and tech-savvy
  • Must have a CHRP certification
  • Experience in a union environment
  • Candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English
