Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at National Rent-All Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers, coordinators, and senior management to develop and implement building plans.
  • Coordinate material purchases and tracking with project managers.
  • Attend and/or lead site meetings to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Maintain a daily log of project information and submit timely paperwork.
  • Meet project schedules and budgets as presented by project managers or coordinators.
  • Ensure projects are run efficiently to stay within budget while maintaining quality, including site safety, housekeeping, security, and equipment maintenance.
  • Work with project managers and coordinators to provide labor, subtrades, and materials.
  • Supervise and instruct on-site teams and subcontractors.
  • Educate site workers on safety regulations and accident protocols, enforcing site safety rules to minimize accidents and injuries.
  • Handle site accidents in accordance with established protocols.
  • Prepare bi-weekly look-ahead schedules and review overall project schedules with project managers.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contract documents, including drawings, specifications, site instructions, contracts, change orders, RFI's, consultant reports, and safety documentation.
  • Operate machinery as needed.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience as a site supervisor.
  • A solid grasp of building concepts and details.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • WHMIS, Fall Arrest, and First Aid Certification (required).
  • Strong team-building skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels, from trades to owners, in a productive and professional manner.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to consistently achieve on-time and on-budget objectives.
