About the Job

This position is responsible for maintaining and displaying used equipment inventory, assisting with inspection and acceptance, exercising vehicles to ensure roadworthiness, and recording findings.

Responsibilities

  1. Exercise trucks and tractors to ensure equipment is roadworthy.
  2. Guarantee customer units are ready for delivery or transport without issues.
  3. Transport equipment around the yard to maintain order and organization.
  4. Perform light mechanical work and troubleshoot issues.
  5. Coordinate with local shops or service providers for repairs.
  6. Ensure equipment is clean and presentable.
  7. Submit weekly exercise data via Teams.
  8. Perform special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or GED required.
  2. One year or more of mechanical and/or customer service experience required.
  3. Class DZ Driver's license required.
  4. Knowledge of truck and trailer equipment required.
  5. Ability to work in an outside environment and elements.
  6. Customer focus and support.
  7. Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
