Job Title: Banquet Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Supervisor to join our team at White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa.

Job Summary:

The Banquet Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banquets and events, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage for events.
  • Supervise staff and other officials, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
