Job Title: Banquet Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Supervisor to join our team at White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our banquet services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the demands of our banquet services.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining establishment or hotel.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
