Job Title: Banquet Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Supervisor to join our team at White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa.

Job Summary:

The Banquet Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of banquets and events, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules and supervise staff
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
