Job Summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our Service Delivery team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering onsite IT hardware and software support to end users, ensuring prompt and professional responses to incidents and service requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and technical notes.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and apply this knowledge to improve technical support services.

Requirements

  • Completion of a three-year college program in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive working experience in a technical support role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • A+ and ITIL V4 certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting issues related to Windows 10, Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other Microsoft products.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and fixing PC hardware issues.
  • Hands-on experience with PC reimaging tools.
  • Hands-on experience with local and network printers setup and troubleshooting in a corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience with setting up and troubleshooting Android and iOS devices.
  • Experience troubleshooting virtual and cloud computing environment based on Citrix, VMware, and Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level Azure and/or VMware certification.
  • Experience with project coordination and documentation.
