At CPS Industries Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the receipt and review of purchase orders from customers, ensuring that all details match the negotiated contract.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze production costs and calculate potential delays in order fulfillment. You will communicate shipping dates to customers, negotiate as needed, and ensure timely entry of purchase orders into our ERP system.

A key aspect of this role is the creation of work files, which includes drawings, manufacturing plans, and material requisitions. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory reports, monitoring and controlling stock levels, and presenting information to customers.

We are looking for a results-driven individual who can effectively manage discrepancies in shipping times, follow up with production and procurement departments, and communicate with customers to resolve issues.

This position requires strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose recovery plans and issue credit notes as needed. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
