Precision Machining Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Precision Machining Technician to join our team at Allied Tooling Technologies Inc.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position with a salary of approximately $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job DescriptionThe Precision Machining Technician will be responsible for:
- Computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate results.
- Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance, verifying dimensions for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
- Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
