Role Summary

As an E-commerce Sales Consultant at GE Appliances Canada, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional sales support and customer service to our online shoppers. Your primary responsibility will be to engage consumers on their shopping journey, providing personalized shopping assistance in a format that suits their needs, whether via online chat, email, or phone.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience: Assist shoppers through ordering via email, phone, online chat, or text, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.
  2. Maximize Sales Conversion: Utilize excellent customer service, product knowledge, and follow-through calls and emails to finalize sales and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  3. Exceed Customer Expectations: Provide the highest level of care and service from inquiry initiation to order delivery and through the ownership experience.
  4. Process Orders Timely and Accurately: Address any order adjustments and billing corrections promptly, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
  5. Initiate Cold Calls: Build awareness around our transactional website and promote our services to select third-party business partners.
  6. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with E-commerce, Marketing, and other teams to understand sales goals, product positioning, and market trends.
  7. Align Communication with Marketing Objectives: Ensure all communication aligns with overall marketing and business objectives.
  8. Monitor and Respond to Product Reviews: Check and promptly reply to all product reviews based on company policies and standards.
  9. Measure Performance and Adjust Strategies: Utilize monthly reports to measure performance based on identified KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements
  1. Education: Associate's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent work experience.
  2. Customer Service and Sales Experience: Proven track record of sales success and exceptional customer support.
  3. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to learn new applications quickly.
  4. Teamwork and Consumer-Centric Mindset: Proven ability to work well in a team environment, with a consumer-centric mindset and attitude.
  5. Strong Work Ethic and Integrity: Strong work ethic, integrity, self-motivation, and personal responsibility.
  6. Language Requirements: English and French required.
