Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at Carlyle Family Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand, ensuring that all products are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
- Team Management: Supervise and train a team of bakers and production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering materials and supplies as needed to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or production environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly
- Ability to work a 30-40 hour week, with flexibility to work overtime as required
