Medical Science Liaison Hematology Role

We're looking for a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in Ontario, Canada.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in health sciences, such as a PhD, MD, or PharmD, and 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in Oncology/Hematology.
Job Description:As a Medical Science Liaison, you will serve as a scientific resource for Canadian experts in the field of Hematology and related disorders.
You will be responsible for responding to requests for in-depth, cutting-edge scientific information from the medical community in the hematology field.
This includes staying up-to-date with the latest scientific literature, research from major scientific conferences, updates on Lilly's educational activities, and pipeline research activities.
You will also gather feedback and insight from Scientific Experts and Thought Leaders to inform Lilly's research and strategic direction.
By facilitating scientific exchange between the academic community and Lilly, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare with information that addresses important clinical and scientific questions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with the scientific community
- Effectively communicate with Scientific Experts and Thought Leaders with up-to-date scientific knowledge
- Continually enhance your scientific knowledge within the therapeutic area
- Support the affiliate medical business objectives and cross-functional partners
You will be considered a reliable, trusted resource of accurate, up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge requested by customers.
A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its regulations is essential for this role.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need excellent presentation skills, the ability to critically appraise scientific information, and strong project management skills.
You will be part of a collaborative team that values intellectual curiosity, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Your coverage territory will include Ontario, Canada.
Requirements:- Advanced degree in health sciences (PhD, MD, PharmD) with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in Oncology/Hematology
- MSc in health care/professional designation (BScN, PT, RD etc.) with 5 or more years of relevant clinical experience in Oncology/Hematology
- Previous MSL experience and sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
Lilly offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
