Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Bookkeeper to join our team at Canada Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, financial record-keeping, and accounting software.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with 32 hours of work per week. The salary range for this role is between $45,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems;
  • Keep up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and statements;
  • Post journal entries and prepare reports as needed;
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance;
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
