Job Title: Bookkeeper

Ontario Inc. is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Prepare trial balance of books and maintain computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
  • MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Team player with efficient interpersonal skills.
