Project Director

Solotech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a global leader in live productions, systems integration, and virtual technology, we are looking for a professional who can deliver spectacular experiences worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
- Coordinate material, financial, and labour requirements, and act as a resource person for clients.
- Travel frequently to meet with clients, evaluate project progress, and conduct follow-ups.
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate project solutions and make necessary changes.
- Prepare project plans, budgets, and resource allocation, and ensure on-site preparation and execution.
- Maintain high levels of customer service, explaining technical terms to clients when necessary.
- Control the quality of work performed according to Solotech standards.
- Act as a resource person to clients for any project-related questions, comments, or changes.
- University degree or college diploma in project management, audiovisual, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position, or strong expertise and skills relevant to the role.
- Significant experience in technical management or event production management in the audiovisual, film, or corporate sector.
- High level of technical expertise in the audiovisual field.
- High level of oral and written proficiency in both official languages.
- Mastery of R2 and Sketch Up software (an asset).
- Basic knowledge of Autocad or Vectorworks software.
- Mastery of current Office suite software.
- Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
