Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Dawson Creek Clinic Pharmacy.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative and technical support to our pharmacists and pharmacy staff. This role will involve ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products, and performing general clerical duties.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information
  • Maintain inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and filing
  • Assist pharmacists with tasks such as preparing medications and maintaining equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
