Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Dawson Creek Clinic Pharmacy.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative and technical support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information
  • Enter client information into our database
  • Assist pharmacists with various tasks
  • Maintain inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Bill third-party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Maintain inventory of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
  • Perform general clerical duties
  • Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Assist healthcare professionals
  • Answer inquiries and provide information to customers
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Perform light cleaning duties
