About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Dawson Creek Clinic Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Processing: Ensure the accuracy of prescription information and enter client data into our database.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, and ensure that supplies are ordered and restocked as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries and providing information to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general clerical duties, including scheduling appointments, managing routine office functions, and maintaining the cleanliness of our collection areas.
  • Team Support: Assist health care professionals, including pharmacists, and work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve our goals.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
