Pension Risk Management Expertise

LifeWorks, a global leader in health and well-being, is seeking a seasoned Pension Risk Management Expert to join our Consulting practice. As a trusted advisor, you will leverage your expertise in pension risk management to provide strategic guidance to our clients, ensuring the long-term sustainability of their defined benefit pension schemes. Your comprehensive understanding of complex pension landscapes, risk assessment, and financial projections will enable you to develop go-to-market strategies that meet client objectives and improve the marketability of annuity purchase transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to manage pension risk and ensure the long-term sustainability of defined benefit pension schemes.
  • Provide expert analysis and guidance on pension risk management, including risk assessment, financial projections, and investment strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal client teams and clients, providing proactive and informed consulting services.
  • Collaborate with insurers and reinsurers to develop and maintain solid business relationships.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders, leveraging your knowledge of industry developments and emerging trends in the risk transfer market.

Requirements

  • More than 10 years of experience in pension consulting, with a focus on risk management and transfer.
  • Professional actuarial accreditation, such as FCIA, FSA, or ASA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
