About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Medical Contracts Professional to join our team at Interior Health Authority. In this role, you will be responsible for designing physician compensation models to support integrated service delivery and maximize value of investment in physician services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement physician compensation models to support integrated service delivery and maximize value of investment in physician services.
  • Develop comprehensive plans, frameworks, and tools to support partner engagement and physician initiatives for programs and sites within Interior Health.
  • Collaborate with Physician Compensation Analysts to provide leadership for Physician Compensation priority initiatives set by the Director, Medical Staff Contracts and the Executive Director, Medical Affairs.
  • Provide support to medical and operational leaders, physician independent contractors, physician incorporated groups, and other partners involved in the portfolio's priority initiatives.
  • Lead the design of physician contract terms according to the Physician Master Agreement and its appendices, as well as HEABC policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict management, and interpersonal skills.
