Interior Health Authority is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Lead, Medical Staff Contracts. This role is responsible for designing physician compensation models to support integrated service delivery and maximize value of investment in physician services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for Medical Affairs and Physician Compensation initiatives.
- Design physician compensation models using Return on Investment methodology.
- Engage with medical and operational leadership, physician independent contractors, and external partners to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.
- Partner with clinical operations teams to develop implementation plans and communication strategies.
- Facilitate agreement on contract terms between Interior Health and physicians, and Interior Health and Ministry of Health.
- Lead projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes within the Medical Affairs portfolio.
- Develop performance indicators for physician service contracts and monitor services against IH and MoH benchmarks.
- Advise on development of new Physician Compensation policies.
