McCain Foods is seeking a highly skilled Coordinator, Global Variety Development to join our team. As a key member of our Global Variety Development department, you will play a critical role in obtaining and maintaining information from regions on statuses of varieties and variety information in relation to the pack-plan in each region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and maintain information from regions on statuses of varieties and variety information in relation to the pack-plan in each region.
  • Obtain pertinent data from each of the regions and support the maintenance of variety data, variety trial database, and dashboards.
  • Support tracking of variety sustainability aspects and scorecards.
  • Report and collect royalties in all regions.
  • Coordinate the movement of new varieties to all regions.
  • Execute specific variety trials and support the PPTC variety trials.
Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, or Agriculture, and a Master's Degree in Agriculture or a related field. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in data collection, statistical analysis, potato variety trialing, crop production, and potato processing.
