Mortgage Specialist

BMO is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Specialist to join our team. As a Mortgage Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping customers achieve their dream of homeownership by providing expert guidance and support throughout the mortgage application process.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies to drive business results and increase BMO's share of the home financing market.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including realtors, lawyers, and other industry professionals.
- Actively identify sales opportunities and refer them to BMO colleagues as appropriate.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate information throughout the mortgage application process.
- Collaborate with branch teams to ensure seamless handoffs and timely completion of mortgage documentation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and BMO's mortgage products and services.
- Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience in mortgage sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes, regulatory requirements, and BMO's mortgage products and services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- U.S. Only: Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry required.
